Elizabeth Middour has a studio that is any artist’s dream-- secluded, quiet, and surrounded by inspiration. Located right on Shem Creek, it is ideal for an artist to escape from the hustle and bustle of the day and become lost in their work.
There is a long dock that leads to what looks like a little wooden house. It coexists with boats, seagulls, and occasional dolphins. From the outside, you might not know what a hidden gem this place really is.
When you step inside, the one room space is equipped with everything an artist could need-- a great view, a few easels, some brushes and paints, and even a bed. With one window overlooking Shem Creek and another onto scenic marshland, its no wonder Middour has such beautiful paintings!
Many of her pieces depict the views she has from this place. Others are still nature inspired and are of fruits and flowers.
We are glad to have her as part of the Collective!
