Founded in 2010, The Artist Collective began with a simple idea: make collecting original art more accessible - and make it matter.

What started in a Charleston living room has grown into a thriving online gallery with sister collectives in Atlanta, Nashville, Charlottesville, and Palm Beach, along with rotating shows and pop-ups throughout the Southeast.

We curate monthly, theme-based releases of original artwork by local artists, offering a wide range of styles and mediums at accessible price points. Every piece is original, and a portion of every sale supports a local nonprofit. Since our launch, we’ve donated more than $500,000 to organizations focused on children, conservation, education, and the arts.

Our artists may work in different styles, but they share a common belief: art should feel personal, joyful, and within reach. Each month, artists respond to a shared theme - bringing fresh perspectives and new collections to life. Artwork ranges from $75 to $10,000, making it possible to start a collection or invest in a statement piece.

Carrie Anderson

Carrie Anderson, Director of Nashville Artist Collective (NAC), has been with the Collective since 2017 and was named Director in 2022. Since stepping into the role, Carrie has continued to grow NAC’s presence in the Nashville community, now representing 24 talented artists across a range of mediums and styles.

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Carrie grew up surrounded by creativity. With a sister who is an artist, an uncle who is a photographer, and her cousin Winston Wiant, a member of Atlanta Artist Collective, art has always been woven into the fabric of her life. This lifelong exposure fostered a deep appreciation for original artwork and the meaningful role it plays in shaping a home and telling a personal story.

Carrie graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South in 2017 with a degree in Psychology and Education before beginning her career with Nashville Artist Collective. Her background in psychology informs her thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to working with both artists and collectors, while her passion for community building continues to guide the gallery’s growth.

Under Carrie’s leadership, Nashville Artist Collective remains dedicated to promoting emerging and established artists while creating an approachable and inspiring space for collectors. She is passionate about helping clients find pieces that feel personal, timeless, and deeply connected to their stories.
