Original works by local artists.
Art that makes the room.
Founded in 2010, The Artist Collective began with a simple idea: make collecting original art more accessible - and make it matter.
What started in a Charleston living room has grown into a thriving online gallery with sister collectives in Atlanta, Nashville, Charlottesville, and Palm Beach, along with rotating shows and pop-ups throughout the Southeast.
We curate monthly, theme-based releases of original artwork by local artists, offering a wide range of styles and mediums at accessible price points. Every piece is original, and a portion of every sale supports a local nonprofit. Since our launch, we’ve donated more than $500,000 to organizations focused on children, conservation, education, and the arts.
Our artists may work in different styles, but they share a common belief: art should feel personal, joyful, and within reach. Each month, artists respond to a shared theme - bringing fresh perspectives and new collections to life. Artwork ranges from $75 to $10,000, making it possible to start a collection or invest in a statement piece.
Looking for the perfect piece for a project? We regularly partner with interior designers and design professionals, serving as a trusted resource and art consultant to help bring spaces to life.
Many of our artists also accept custom commissions. Whether you’re looking for a specific size, subject matter, or color palette, we guide you through the process from start to finish. We’ll help match you with the right artist, assist with sizing, palette, and framing, clearly communicate your vision, and ensure you’re thrilled with the final piece.
Meet the Director
Katie Barbatsuly
The Artist Collective is pleased to announce the launch of its Palm Beach location, featuring original works from established and emerging artists throughout Southern Florida. Katie Barbatsuly will serve as the Director for the region. Artist Collective Founder, Allison Williamson, says, “We are thrilled to expand into such a dynamic market. Katie’s extensive knowledge of art and interiors along with coast-to-coast connections in the industry make her a strong fit for our company’s culture and future vision. I’m confident that Katie will be a wonderful Director for the Palm Beach Artist Collective. We’re excited to use her talents in cultivating and representing our artists and developing sales channels, collaborations and partnerships with like-minded brands.”
A native of Garden City, New York, Katie grew up surrounded by beautiful things. She developed a well-trained eye for style tagging along to antique fairs, textile showrooms and museums with her mother, interior decorator, Betty Barbatsuly. Following her graduation from Vanderbilt University, Katie landed in San Francisco where she worked in finance for Morgan Stanley. Her career evolved to include roles with the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Carve Designs. Katie is an avid traveler, having visited capital cities, small towns and exotic locations around the world.
Says Katie of her new venture, “I’ve long been an admirer of The Artist Collective’s mission to feature artists whose works represent a range of genres, as well as its local focus in giving back to the communities it serves. The Palm Beach Artist Collective brings me full circle back to Florida and allows me to continue to pursue my passion for the visual arts. I’m excited to be a part of such a vibrant business and a special network of artists from across the Southeast!”
