Page Morris picked up a paintbrush in third grade and never looked back. Largely self-taught, her client list reaches as far as Canada and includes syndicated columnist Kathleen Parker. Galleries representing her work include: Verve and Over the Mantle in Columbia, SC; Grand Bohemian Gallery in Charleston, SC and One Kings Lane. "My subject matter is women who are feminine, colorful, playful, strong, and beautiful. I use paper, pencil, markers, oil sticks, and paint to achieve a multi-dimensional look. I love texture because the viewers see even more when they stop to take a second look. I adhere to a rigid schedule of painting each day. Creativity only happens if I'm hard at work in my studio. I love what I do and hope my viewers can see that. It's a joyous experience to pick up a paintbrush. It's what I do and what I am."
