Becca Riley is a self-taught abstract painter based in Midtown Atlanta. Her work is primarily created with acrylic, alongside varying oil materials and mixed textures that allow each piece to evolve organically. Painting began as a mental health outlet but quickly became much larger. Through muted tones, layered scribbles, gestural marks, and abstract shapes, Riley creates work that reflects emotion, movement, and the quiet tension between chaos and calm. Which, frankly, is most of adulthood condensed into paint form. She lives in Midtown with her two dogs, Putter and Teeny, and creates work both from her home studio and her studio space in West Midtown.
